Our wedding at the River Club of Mequon was incredible. Their event manager, Amber, is so organized, helpful, and professional. Their team works with you every step of the way, helping make your day exactly tailored for you and your spouse. It was also nice that they had worked with many of our other vendors in the past, so coordinating with them was a breeze. Our wedding day weather looked like it might rain… but Amber monitored the radar, had game plans for either outcome, and let me just enjoy my day. Luckily it didn’t rain, so we were able to have our ceremony and cocktail hour on the deck as planned. Their full event staff was polite and friendly. Food was great and served warm and timely. I especially loved their appetizer menu to select from. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks for hosting our special day!
I was there for my niece's wedding and reception. It was a beautiful wedding and the reception was quite nice. The problem came when I was leaving. We all had to take shuttle buses, no problem. When I walked out to the bus the outside lights were not on. There was a step that I did not see. (No I was not drunk. I don't really drink) I fell face first and smacked my head on the ground. My head had a big goose egg, my palms were bruised, and many other issues. I was 59 yrs old, so it hurts a little more. I had to drive back to Rapid City the next morning with a concussion. When I called the venue to let them know so it never happens to anyone else, no one ever returned my call. My niece was going to call them and talk to her wedding coordinator, still no one called. They don't care. No wonder people sue.....its to get their attention. But don't worry I am not a litigious person. But you should start to care about something other than money.
The venue is gorgeous! It is spacious as well, holds 500!! The staff are amazing. I've had a great experience officiating and coordinating a wedding here today.
Very cool spot. Came here for a wedding reception and it was nice. The reception hall overlooks the golf course. There is an outdoor area which is covered and attached to the main hall. The hall is large and spacious. Parking is ample. Staff is friendly. I would recommend this spot for hosting an event.
Attended wedding and reception. Great view of the golf course. Also the was a metal palm tree with aonkey habging from a branchThe seating for the wedding was nice, the reception area was fantastic. Liked the specialty light hung from ceiling. Dance floor was a bit small with fun lit squares of different colors.
Had a wonderful women's Summer Social golf outing at RC on June 17. The weather was perfect for a fun round and the course was in really good condition too. The Social part included yummy skewers of chicken, steak and shrimp, with fresh veggie cups and fruit. Take a look at that dessert table! Lots of variety and bite-sized. Even had iced coffee with all the fixin's. Really nice job RC!
Was there for a wedding reception food was outstanding although the wait staff barely gave you time to eat. three people including myself while still eating had food on our plates wait staff reached in and took our plates when we had not finished eating. So we could enjoy finishing our food because it was taken away
